Currently a top of the league is Sport Chek FC, PSC and Croatia. Although the teams have some heavy artillery in terms of scoring with names like Brandon Syms, Joe Medaglia and Camilo Cardenas to name a few, is it more the unsung heroes on the back line that make the difference. All three teams boast less than a goal against per game fronted by their expertise in the between the bars. Jeremy Macisaac, Carlo Perra and Scott Magic provide years of experience for these teams.
Sport Chek FC Goals Against in 4 games = 2
PSC goals against in 4 games = 3
Croatia goals against in 4 games = 3
Now there are other teams that have as many goals for as many of there teams but no other teams can keep the ball out of the net like these 3. Maybe the real heroes are the ones not being seen on the score sheet....something to think about.....
